The PX-40 Pressure Transducer The PX-40 is a miniature pressure transducer that output voltage proportional to the measureable pressure range. The spec sheet for the sensor says that the operational temperature range is from -45 to 125 degrees Celsius.

The Correlation Between Voltage and Pressure The spec sheet specifies voltage values for null pressure and the voltage span for the measurable presure range of 0 psi (pounds per square inch) to 100 psi. This can be summed up by one simple equation as follows: *P(t) = (V(t)-0.5) 100.0/4.0** The pressure, P(t) is in lbs/in^2. V(t) is the voltage in volts, and its value is dependent on when or at what time the measurement is taken.
