At the first Pre-Flight Test with the Ground Station, we did not have the payload integrated, and we used a single 9 volt battery to power the CanSat. For all of the "pings" attempted by the Ground Station, all were received and acknowledged by our CanSat. Our CanSat passed the first pre-flight test.
At the second and final pre-flight test, we had the sensor payload integrated , and we used three fresh 9 volt batteries, more than enough ampere-hours to power two CanSat5s. For all pings attempted, the CanSat received and acknowledged only one.
